Friends in Concert Established in 1986, Friends in Concert is a much enjoyed social event and bridge builder to the community as well as a critical fundraiser for the Academy. This year, Friends in Concert will honor Ralph La Rossa, president of PSE&G, and the Tom and Betty Durkin family on October 16, 2008. Thanks to all who supported this event. All proceeds from Friends in Concert go directly toward annual operating costs, because the tuition charged at SVA covers only a portion of the cost of educating our students. The Baltusrol Golf Outing The Baltusrol Golf Outing was established in 1999 as a fund- and friend-raiser for the Academy. The event is held on a near-perfect-weather day in April at the Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, NJ. Non-golfers are welcome at the cocktail reception and awards presentation at day's end.
